The ASEC Way

ASEC is more than an organization; it is a collective commitment to innovation and progress. Its principles express the spirit that unites entrepreneurs, institutions, and partners.

A

Ambition for Collective Progress

ASEC is driven by a shared ambition that goes beyond individual success stories. Its purpose is to elevate the entire Algerian startup ecosystem by fostering collective progress, long-term vision, and strategic alignment among all actors.

This ambition translates into supporting initiatives that strengthen national innovation capacity, encourage responsible entrepreneurship, and position Algerian startups as credible contributors to economic transformation at both regional and international levels.

ASEC believes that sustainable success is built when ambition is collective, structured, and aligned with national priorities.

S

Structured Collaboration

ASEC promotes collaboration that is intentional, organized, and results-oriented. Rather than informal networking alone, it builds frameworks that enable startups, institutions, experts, and partners to work together efficiently and coherently.

Through sector-based working groups, shared platforms, coordinated programs, and collective initiatives, ASEC transforms connections into cooperation and cooperation into impact.

Structured collaboration reduces fragmentation, reinforces trust, and allows the ecosystem to address complex challenges with coordinated solutions.

E

Ecosystem Stewardship

ASEC acts as a steward of the Algerian startup ecosystem, committed to its coherence, sustainability, and continuous improvement. It contributes to creating an environment where innovation can thrive by aligning stakeholders, supporting knowledge exchange, and encouraging best practices.

By facilitating dialogue with public institutions and promoting transparent, inclusive processes, ASEC helps improve the regulatory and operational conditions necessary for entrepreneurial growth.

Ecosystem stewardship means taking responsibility for the long-term health of the ecosystem, beyond individual interests or short-term outcomes.

C

Community with Impact

ASEC is built on a strong, engaged, and responsible community. It brings together entrepreneurs, experts, partners, and institutions around shared values of trust, cooperation, and mutual support.

The community serves as both a space for exchange and a collective voice, ensuring fair representation of entrepreneurs' interests and promoting initiatives that generate measurable economic and social impact.

ASEC believes that when a community is united, structured, and purpose-driven, it becomes a powerful force for innovation, credibility, and lasting impact.

ASEC (Algerian Start-up Ecosystem Community) is a national platform dedicated to contributing to the structuring and development of Algeria's startup ecosystem. It brings together diverse stakeholders around a shared vision based on collaboration, coordination, and representation.
No. ASEC is neither an incubator nor an accelerator, and it does not deliver direct incubation programs. Its role is to coordinate the ecosystem, connect stakeholders, and represent collective interests—working alongside existing incubators, accelerators, and support structures without replacing them.
ASEC is open to entrepreneurs and startup founders, project holders and self-employed professionals, experts and mentors, corporates and large organizations, investors, and universities, laboratories, and public institutions. Membership is driven by the willingness to contribute to ecosystem development, not solely by individual benefit.
Joining ASEC provides a structured framework for collaboration and knowledge exchange, a space for dialogue between economic and institutional actors, opportunities to participate in collective ecosystem-level initiatives, and collective representation of ecosystem interests in the medium and long term. ASEC does not promise immediate results, but a cumulative and collective journey.
ASEC is an independent platform. However, it values constructive dialogue with public institutions and works with them to improve the overall framework for entrepreneurship and innovation in Algeria.
No. ASEC adopts a cross-sector, inclusive approach covering areas such as industry, agriculture, energy, technology, digital services, healthcare, and others—in line with national priorities.
